Methodology
How Fomo Index turns stored leaderboard snapshots into rankings, momentum signals, and trader profiles.
Leaderboard windows
Each 24H, 7D, 30D, and All Time view uses the most recent successful snapshot available for that period. Traders are displayed in the rank order supplied by the active leaderboard data source. PnL, volume, trades, followers, and wallet fields are not invented when unavailable.
Rising Traders
Rising Traders compares the current 7D snapshot with the closest stored snapshot from approximately seven days earlier. A trader must have positive current 7D PnL, gain at least three ranking places, record at least three trades, and show at least $1,000 in volume. No simulated traders are inserted while real history is unavailable.
Trader profile information
Current sources do not provide verified Trader DNA scores, trading styles, or biographical summaries. These fields remain blank. Rankings and available performance figures are kept separate from behavioral interpretations; missing information is never inferred from a trader's username.
Missing information
When a wallet or metric is unavailable, the site leaves the value blank or displays “Not found” or “N/A”. A missing value is not a zero return. Saved wallet mappings may represent the last known association and do not prove current ownership.
